DYMBUR is a Khasi Thraat Indian Folk Metal band based in Shillong, Meghalaya, India.
They were formed in 2012 and started by playing djent/progressive metal.
In 2020, the band decided to fuse Djent/Metal with Khasi traditional instruments to create a sound of their own. Hence, they termed their genre as ‘Khasi Thraat Folk Metal’
